Baki Petroleum Group, LLC Background

Baki Petroleum Group, LLC has been operating since May 05, 2009; it was established under AZ Government Ordinance No.305 dated April 8, 2009 and Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic No.589-р dated April 15, 2009. The key founders of Baki Petroleum Group, LLC were the State Property Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Property Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and approximately 24 individuals.

We are among the largest top ten oil companies of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Holding’s vertically integrated structure ensures the full operational cycle – from exploration and hydrocarbons production to refining. Baki Petroleum Group, LLC holds licenses for exploration, oil and gas production in 11 license areas located in Caspian basin and South East.

We produces the main quantities of raw hydrocarbons in Caspian basin and South East Area. We develop the Shah Daniz, Kursangi-Garabaghli Salya, Azeri Chirag Gunashli, Muradkhanli Ranco fields and a number of other fields in the Caspian basin Area. Produced oil is delivered to the system of pilines for further transportation to Azerbaijan refineries and for export.

Baki Petroleum Group, LLC refining complex includes two large enterprises. Company’s Refineries manufactures the products compliant with the international standards due to the developed operational infrastructure, up-to-date process equipment, and application of latest achievements in refining.

The Refinery occupies its rightful place among the largest players of the Azerbaijan oil refining industry, forming the local oil refinery market, and is known far abroad.
